Surprise, surprise, the Brass Blades are too lazy to conduct a thorough investigation so you’ve been asked to step in and get to the bottom of this. Ollier’s friend and coworker, Hugue, has been accused of stealing a valuable item from the prize claim counter at the Gold Saucer. You’ll need to be at least level 15 and have completed the level 15 MSQ ‘The Gridanian Envoy’, ‘The Ul’dahn Envoy’, or ‘The Lominsan Envoy’ depending on your starting city. You’ll need access to the Gold Saucer so if you haven’t done so already go unlock that with the quest ‘It Could Happen to You’ from the Well-Heeled Youth, conveniently also located in the Steps of Nald in Ul’dah. He’s a blue-haired Ardbert with glasses and a white suit. The quest giver is Ollier in the Steps of Nald in Ul’dah. Without further ado, here’s a walkthrough to solving The Great Horn Heist. You’ll want to do this quest now for the reward of a shiny new emote so you won’t have to buy it on the Mog Station in a year’s time.
